Who We’re Looking For
* Practical understanding of services disciplines related to mechanical roles
* HNC/HND qualifications in Mechanical engineering (preferred)
* Experience managing construction operations, including planning and testing
* Strong numeracy, commercial awareness, and technical knowledge
* Leadership and management skills with a collaborative approach
* Decisiveness and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and technical support capabilities
What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitoring project delivery, identifying risks, and collaborating with stakeholders
* Assessing design constructability and ensuring practical solutions
* Leading construction delivery in compliance with safety and process standards
* Reviewing and approving contractor documentation
* Supporting and developing teams, contributing to project groups
* Conducting site surveys and liaising with designers
* Proofreading technical drawings and ensuring quality
* Maintaining focus on safety and Zero Harm
* Managing handover documentation
* Driving operational programs and sharing best practices
* Managing subcontractors and advising on risks and commercial aspects
* Preparing RAMS and Quality Plans
* Undertaking EDF-specific training for various supervisor roles
