About the Role
We are looking for an experienced 2nd line Support Engineer to join our team and provide first-class support to our customers.
You will have honed your skills within a service desk environment and be ready to handle more complex incidents. You will also have some experience with project-based work (migrations, rollouts, upgrades/patching) using automation tools.
The role includes ensuring the smooth running of IT operations at assigned customer sites. You will need to take ownership of all requests, managing the process through to successful completion, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Escalated Service Desk technical support and client liaison for complex faults & services
* Handling incidents, service requests, and changes
* Managing services according to company security standards
* Planning work with internal Wanstor teams
Additional Responsibilities
* Managing email services in Office 365 & Microsoft Exchange, troubleshooting mail flow issues
* User management including group creation under Active Directory and Azure AD, managing MFA and VPN connectivity
* Setup and configuration of Windows PCs and laptops, using MDM systems and Windows Intune for deployment
* Configuring Outlook and Exchange email on devices
* Microsoft Office 365 integration
* Asset and inventory management
* Migrating customer sites and users to new infrastructure
* Producing deployment and change documentation
* Conducting infrastructure reviews and providing IT service recommendations
* Transitioning into 3rd line roles and areas of specialization with experience
