IT Support Engineer
* Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
* Location: Belfast
* Job Type: Full-time
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a leading IT Managed Service Provider based in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing IT solutions and eager to engage in a variety of projects across Northern Ireland. As part of our team, you will support existing infrastructure and consult on network security, productivity, and M365 solutions.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deskside support, highly professional, polite and presentable.
* Support Windows-based environment with a handful of LOB apps, printing, mobiles, access systems, meeting rooms.
* Update and generate operational instructions and user guides.
* Manage IT inventory, new starts, leavers.
* Sole IT representative on site, but with escalation to team as required.
* Can be trusted to work with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
* Strong working knowledge of M365 (Identity, Intune) and Secure Modern Office.
* Experience with Windows Server Administration including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print.
* Familiarity with Windows Desktop rollout and support.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of describing problems and working through solutions.
* Good documentation discipline and ability to follow and improve SOPs and policies.
* Team-oriented, with a willingness to ask for help and share knowledge.
Desirable:
* M365 certification.
* Experience in an MSP environment, familiar with PSA ticketing and working with multiple clients.
* Knowledge of Azure IaaS, VMware, Veeam, Citrix, Aruba Networking, Sophos FW, Teams Voice, and vulnerability management.
