We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Children Support Workers who have experience working within this specific environment. You will need to be able to provide all round support based care with children and teenagers, an acute setting to join our team on an agency basis with the view to going full time. Shift times; 24 hour shifts including sleep ins. However, a range of shifts can be applied. 8 hour days, 12 hour days and 12 hour nights. Required; Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) UK Driving License with Access to Own Vehicle Experience working with Children About us; We provide safe homes for children and young people in Wales. We provide therapeutic care to children and young people between the ages of 7 and 18 in our residential children’s homes. These homes are fully-registered under the Care Standards Act 2000 and we work within the legal framework set out by the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015 and other associated legislation. Our regulatory body is Ofsted, who perform regular inspections to ensure we are working to the appropriate standard. Our primary model of therapy is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). However, we will use other therapeutic methods, depending on the individual needs of the child or young person in question. These may include psychotherapy, play therapy, or other methods. All therapy is provided by an in house therapist, employed directly by the company on a full-time basis. Therapeutic intervention can be provided individually to the child or young person, or via intervention with the home’s support staff to deliver a therapeutic environment. Depending on the circumstances, we can put together an approach that allows for both possibilities. What are our rates? Monday to Friday Days - £12.00 Monday to Friday Nights - £12.50 Weekend Days - £13.00 Weekend Nights - £13.50 Sleeps - £60.00 (Flat Rate) Bank Holiday Days - £24.00 Bank Holiday Nights - £26.00 What can you expect from us?
