We’re Hiring: Personal Advisers – Bury Area
We are looking for passionate Personal Advisers to join our Children, Young People & Culture team in the Bury area! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in care and care leavers, supporting them to achieve their potential and transition successfully into adulthood.
What You’ll Do
* Support the implementation of care & pathway plans for children and young people
* Prepare young people for independence and adulthood, providing advice on education, training, accommodation, and wellbeing
* Maintain strong relationships with carers, families, and professionals to provide holistic support
* Promote participation through group work, social opportunities, and advocacy for children in care and care leavers
* Work flexibly across different local authority establishments with some evening and weekend commitments
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in a professional setting
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
* Strong communication, relationship‑building, and conflict‑resolution skills
* Knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and care planning
