Veritas Education is working closely with a vibrant and diverse primary school in Newham to recruit a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team immediately. The role is full-time and may lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role
* Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
* Preparing pupils for SATs with a focus on academic progress and confidence
* Delivering a well-structured and engaging curriculum across all core subjects
* Working closely with the leadership team, phase leader, and support staff
* Using data to track progress and plan targeted interventions where necessary
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation
* High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
* Organised, reflective, and able to work well under pressure
* Confident in using assessment data to inform teaching
