Job Description:
This role will ensure that the maintenance and operations of the plant, machinery, and services operate at the highest standards. The Maintenance Planner will coordinate and manage maintenance activities to optimize the performance of engineering assets and staff.
Key responsibilities:
* Improve the performance of the engineering team to ensure consistency in communication and standards.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan for engineering assets.
* Schedule regular maintenance activities and manage resources, including personnel and materials.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess and prioritize maintenance needs.
* Manage work orders and PPMs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
* Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement improvements.
* Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and inventory.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Participate in budgeting and forecasting maintenance costs.
* Provide training and support to maintenance staff and new recruits.
