I am working with a client who is looking to appoint a Payroll & Benefits Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll (30%)End-to-end monthly payroll for approx. 100 employees (P&I division) and 35 employees (sisterpany).Manage statutory payments (PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, etc.), RTI returns, P11Ds, and year-end reporting.Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
2. Administer pensions (auto-enrolment), perks schemes, holiday purchase, SPOT awards, long service and retirement awards.
3. Manage bonuses,missions, car allowances, private health insurance, and other ad-hoc agreements.
4. Produce annual total reward statements and supportpensation policy development.
5. Systems &plianceAct as a system superuser; support configuration, testing, and reporting improvements.Ensurepliance with payroll, taxation, pension, and data protection legislation.
6. Stakeholder SupportProvide expert advice to HR, Finance, and operational managers.Act as trusted point of contact for payroll and benefits queries.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
7. Strong payroll experience and solid understanding ofpensation & benefits.
8. Confidentmunicator with resilience
9. CIPP qualification desirable; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
