Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Ensure that deadlines are met
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
* Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
* Manage balance sheet reconciliations
* Business Partnering
* Support the wider finance function when required
* Transactional duties when required
* Adhoc duties
Profile
The Successful Assistant Accountant
* Experience in a similar position
* Actively studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA
* Experience in a commercial role
* Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
* Proficient in accounting software
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proactive attitude
* Be local to Nottingham
