At Who’s Listening, we’re a work-from-home, full-service marketing agency specialising in social media, websites, and video. We're into year 4 of business and proud to be growing fast, working with clients across a wide range of sectors - and now we’re looking for the next creative to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong skillset in graphic design and a passion for video editing, who also enjoys the strategy and relationship side of social media management.
The Role In Brief…
As a Social Media Designer / Account Manager your main responsibility will be creating content and managing a selection of our social media clients. The content will be a mixture of photography, graphics and video (all of which will need to be fully created/shot and edited).
Alongside this you will be fully managing each of the client's social media channels - creating content plans, writing captions and posting content as well using social media as the client to engage with their followers. You will speak directly to the clients, building positive relationships and learning about their business.
There will also be various opportunities to work on other design-based jobs such as brochures, leaflets, branding etc. as well as ad-hoc video projects.
Responsible For…
* Managing positive relationships with your clients via email, WhatsApp, telephone/Zoom and face-to-face meetings.
* Booking in and attending content days with clients as and when required.
* Taking briefs/requests from clients and actioning them in the required time period.
* Implementing pre-agreed retainer packages for clients.
* Creating content calendars.
* Designing/editing social media posts.
* Writing captions in the client's tone of voice and scheduling content.
* Monitoring social platforms.
* Performing outreach on behalf of the client.
* Identifying opportunities for growth within our existing clients.
* Working with the rest of the team on new business activities where relevant.
* Maintaining accurate records of work and completing monthly reports for clients.
* Researching and writing blogs on behalf of the company.
Skills & Experience…
We are looking for somebody to join the business that shares the hunger we do for success and growth. All of the skills and experience below will be required in order to complete the role successfully.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
* Knowledge of how social media works for businesses (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok – all channels).
* Experienced in the Adobe Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.).
* Experienced in editing video content using Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent.
* Comfortable shooting content (both photography and video), using relevant equipment.
* Confidence to research clients and industries before making recommendations.
* Ability to understand and interpret a brand’s tone of voice to effectively copy write/creatively write.
* Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management.
* Ability to multi-task and juggle various projects for clients.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, turning work around quickly.
* Pro-active, continually learn and develop for both personal and professional growth.
* Self-starter, we don’t believe in micro-management.
* Full UK driving licence to attend client meetings/content days.

Alongside the opportunity for fast progression within the business as we grow, we will also offer the successful candidate the following:
* Initial starting salary of £28,000 - £30,000.
* Uncapped commission structure.
* Full control of your progression.
* Remote Working; you’ll be working from home 99% of the time, but will need to visit clients in and around the North East.
