Multi Trade Installations Engineer
* Annual Salary: £38,000
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Location: UK Wide
We are seeking a Multi Trade Installations Engineer to join our team on exciting new utility installation projects across the UK. This role involves positioning and connecting packaged plant systems, including electrical, water, and wastewater connections. The successful candidate will work closely with the connections manager to ensure all installations are executed safely and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Undertake work assigned by the connections manager, focusing on safe and effective connections of electrical cables, potable water pipes, and wastewater pipes.
* Identify the best points of connection and suitable routes for all utilities.
* Commission the packaged plant system post-connection, consulting with technical experts to ensure proper setup and operation.
* Maintain all company-issued equipment and order stock as needed for connections.
* Assess risks and determine best practices for installations.
* Participate in excavation and reinstatement as well as high-level work when required.
* Collaborate closely with project coordinators to ensure smooth running of installations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of plumbing, connection of pipes, and identification of sizes.
* Commercial or Domestic background
* Understanding of wastewater systems within buildings and surrounding land.
* Appreciation of electrical safety and correct tool selection.
* Willingness to upskill and tackle more advanced installations.
Desired Skills (Training provided if necessary):
* City and Guilds 18th edition.
* Plumbing NVQ level 2.
