A boutique consultancy specialising in luxury residential developments is looking to appoint a capable and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Central London team. Known for delivering some of the capital's most prestigious private homes, this firm offers a unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to gain hands-on experience across every stage of high-end residential schemes. With a strong pipeline of exclusive projects across Prime Central London, this role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years' consultancy experience, preferably within the high-end or private residential sector. This is a client-facing position with a strong emphasis on post-contract delivery and commercial control. Quantity Surveyor - Role Overview The successful Quantity Surveyor will support senior staff in delivering full pre and post-contract services, focusing on cost management, procurement, change control, and contract administration. Working across bespoke residential schemes, you will be involved in preparing cost plans, tender documentation, cost reporting, and managing contractor relationships to ensure quality, cost certainty, and timely delivery. Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage cost plans, tender packages, and procurement strategies Produce monthly cost reports and financial updates for clients Monitor project budgets and manage change control throughout the lifecycle Assist in contract administration including issuing instructions, payment certificates, and final accounts Support the wider team in delivering Employer's Agent duties as neededQuantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements 3-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within a consultancy High-end or private residential project experience is highly desirable Strong post-contract knowledge, including contract administration and cost reporting Familiarity with JCT contracts and London's residential construction market Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field Progressing toward MRICS or already enrolled on the APC pathwayIn Return Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) 25 days annual leave bank holidays Hybrid working policy (3 days in office, 2 from home) Close-knit team with a strong project portfolio Supportive environment for APC and structured progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor If you are a Quantity Surveyor considering your career opportunities, then please contact Dan McEvoy at Brandon James.
