Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer that has been established the local area for a number of years. Due to site investment and development, they are looking for an experienced multi:skilled maintenance engineer to join their close knit team.
Role and responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
* Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services
* Fixing production machinery, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, automation and controls, PLCs, site services and facilities
* Supporting with project work : new machine and production line installs
* PPMs, electrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
Knowledge, skills and experience need to be a maintenance engineer:
* Ideally be a multi:skilled maintenance engineer : confident both electrically and mechanically
* Apprenticeship trained or a time:served engineering with mechanical and electrical qualifications
* Previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
* Able to work well under pressure in a fast:paced environment
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills
* PLC : electrical fault finding : desirable
* Experience of carrying out CI projects, new machine installations
