Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the development and wellbeing of children in our care.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, and social development.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive nursery environment.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of practice within the nursery setting.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as safeguarding policies.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to inspire young minds.
* Driving licence preferred but not mandatory; flexibility in commuting may be required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
