Due to continued growth, our client are seeking a skilled Industrial Gas Engineer to become part of this dynamic and forward-thinking team.
This is a regional role and will cover the North of England.
What you’ll do as an Industrial Gas Engineer
* On-site maintenance and support on a diverse range of industrial combustion and process plant equipment.
* Reactive and planned maintenance on industrial boilers, burners, and combustion systems.
* Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial gas systems.
* Commissioning and servicing of industrial equipment.
* Testing and monitoring of plant performance to ensure efficiency.
* Providing expert advice and recommendations for upgrades and energy savings.
* Building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
* Ensuring full health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
* Traveling locally with occasional overnight stays.
What you need to succeed
* Full UK driving licence.
* Relevant Gas qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1 preferred.
* Good mechanical experience and electrical fault-finding skills are advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A keen eye for detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Willingness to undertake further training to expand your expertise.
