What you will do Design and develop backend services that support large scale workflows * Work with product teams to break down complex problems and shape technical solutions * Build APIs, data pipelines and integrations that are resilient and well structured * Contribute to architectural decisions and backend platform evolution * Improve reliability by investing in observability, testing and performance optimisation * Collaborate with frontend, mobile and data teams as part of cross functional delivery What you bring Strong backend development experience with a modern server side language * Solid understanding of API design, data modelling and distributed systems * Experience with relational databases and query performance * Ability to reason about system behaviour under real operational load * Confidence reading code, reviewing designs and contributing to technical direction * A desire to work in a team that values craftsmanship, clarity and ownership Why this role This is an opportunity to work on meaningful backend engineering challenges where your decisions have real impact.
