£55,000 + bonus + amazing benefits
5-week shift pattern – 6am–6pm (days) & 6pm–6am (nights)
No weekends
About the role:
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading, employee-owned manufacturing business in Macclesfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a secure company where you’ll minimise downtime, support continuous improvement, and make a real impact on production performance.
Salary & Benefits:
* £55,000 + profit-related pay bonus

What you’ll do:
* React quickly to breakdowns & complete planned maintenance across site machinery
* Carry out statutory checks & ensure compliance with HSE standards
* Support CI projects to improve machine reliability & uptime
* Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to prioritise workload
* Keep accurate maintenance records & give clear shift handovers
* Manage/oversee contractors on site to ensure safe practices
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in breakdown response & planned maintenance within manufacturing
* Skilled in both mechanical & electrical fault finding (able to read technical drawings)
* Solid understanding of health & safety practices (inc. safe isolation)
* Flexible, proactive & strong problem solver
* Team player with good comms skills
Bonus skills: pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, PLC fault finding, maintenance systems knowledge.
