How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey:
1. Assist with month-end accounting process for the Group’s UK based e-money institution – including reconciliation of cash and client accounts open positions currently around €450m-€500m
2. Overall responsibility for managing of open receivables including liaising with Customer Success team to ensure recovery of aged balances
3. Manage and co-ordinating introducer commission process from monthly calculations, statements, invoicing and payments and implement enhancements to this important process
4. Work with Commercial and Customer Success teams to provide finance oversight of manual fee calculations and revenue share including raising adjustments required in the back office platform and invoices where necessary and ensuring all are correctly reflected in revenue reporting.
5. Work with Commercial and Customer Success teams on general fee related issues
6. Approve fees for new clients as part of the client onboarding process within our payments platform, and also for amendments to fees for existing clients
7. Manage payments and recharges to clients made in accordance with the FCA mandated APP recovery scheme
8. Work with the Deloitte external auditors to support the annual financial audit
The ideal candidate will have the following
9. Have at least 8 years' experience in FX/Banking/Cross-border Payments and or Financial Technologies or relevant with similar clients verticals (Financial Institutions, Banking, Crypto, SAAS, Gaming / FX Providers)
10. Min 10-15 years of client facing experience
11. Experience working directly with customers from a variety of backgrounds
12. A basic understanding APIs
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
14. Proficiency in modern office place communications and project management tools (Slack/Trello/HubSpot etc…)
15. Proficiency in CRMs – Salesforce preferably
16. A general understanding of Foreign Exchange
17. A general understanding of Bank Transfer
18. A general understanding the Fintech industry
19. A general understanding of PSD2
20. A willingness to engage with customers and to go above and beyond to deliver
21. Ability to drive projects and lead operational efficiency through proposing new solutions
22. Self-driven & motivated individual
23. Strong understanding of Salesforce reporting and client management
24. Excellent communication skills able to handle challenging conversations and communicate persuasively at C-level
