Support Worker (No Personal Care)

This role is to support a Man who has Huntington’s disease. The individual may become fatigued and have difficulty mobilising. One-to-one support is required to arrange and attend social activities and appointments, assist at meal-times due to choking risks and meal preparation challenges, and provide companionship.
Hours and pay
Hours per week: 8 hours per week. There are 2 regular appointments per week. Indoor Cycling on a Thursday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 (may not stay for the full hour). Fridays at the Gym from 16:00 (may not stay for the full hour). 2 lunch calls on Monday and Thursday between 12:00 and 13:00. Remaining hours to be used to access the community; this can be discussed at interview.
Hourly pay rate: £12.21

* Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
