PE Teacher – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Andover Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long-term cover until Easter 2026 Pay: £150 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)

This Secondary School in Andover is a mixed Secondary School with around 900 students in total aged from 11 to 16 years. The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This long-term cover position begins in January and will run until Easter 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting physical activity, building student confidence, and encouraging healthy, active lifestyles. The role would be a long term contract starting ASAP until at least Easter 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
Inspire and motivate students to participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities
Monitor progress, assess performance, and provide constructive feedback
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum expectations
Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
