Langthwaite Storage & Distribution Ltd is a family run commercial vehicle repair workshop based in South Kirkby. We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
The role:
· Inspection and repair of vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation.
· General mechanical and electrical repairs.
· Light accident damage repairs.
· Sourcing parts when required.
· Ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner – timesheets / service sheets.
· General housekeeping of the workshop.
Other things to consider:
· Permanent contract.
· Weekly paid.
· On-site parking.
· Valid HGV Class 1 licence would be desirable.
Rates of pay:
· 10 hours per day (7am to 5pm)
· Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays
