XYZ Turner
Contek are recruiting for an XYZ Turner in a company based near Nailsea in an sub-contract machine shop that have been in business for many years now.
This position is suitable for a time served engineer who enjoys the manual side of machining and enjoys a variety of work.
Responsibilities:
* Machining using an XYZ Lathe
* Creating components from customer drawings within tight tolerences
* Ability to work without instruction
* Identify more efficient machining methods to benefit your own work without impacting the quality of machined components.
Desired:
* Time served engineer
* Ideally apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation
* Experience working XYZ Proturn lathes or similar
Hours:
38 Hours per week, flexible hours offered.
