At GXO, we’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our Co‑op team in Avonmouth. This full‑time, permanent, site‑based position is mainly Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 or 09:00 to 17:00 with some flexibility required for our 24/7 operation.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive generalist HR support to operational and managerial colleagues.
* Engage in employee relations activities such as grievances, disciplinary processes and absence management.
* Proactively develop the HR strategy with an eye for continuous improvement and compliance.
* Monitor and provide the HR Manager with management information relating to HR matters, such as headcount, turnover and absence.
Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy/practice and employee relations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long‑standing working relationships.
* The ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a small team.
* A proven track record in a similar capacity, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, production or manufacturing, and a CIPD qualification or currently studying towards one.
* Experience in a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking environment and the ability to thrive and make a tangible impact.
