Location: Nantucket, MA | 2025-2026 School Year
Are you a passionate and collaborative School Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? MIYO Health is partnering with schools in Nantucket, MA to hire a full-time onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming school year.
What You’ll Do
As a School Psychologist, you'll be an integral part of a school-based team, working directly with students, families, and staff to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
* Providing direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and crisis response
* Collaborating with educators, families, and school teams to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans
* Participating in eligibility and problem-solving meetings
* Supporting equity and inclusive practices across school communities
* Consulting with staff and external providers to coordinate student services
* Maintaining compliance with professional standards and district procedures
Requirements
What We're Looking For
* Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist certification
* Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
* Strong assessment skills, including experience with psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
* Familiarity with MTSS, IEP teams, and special education eligibility processes
* Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* At least 2 years of school-based experience preferred
* Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-first support
* Full-time availability for the entire 2025-2026 school year in the Nantucket, MA area (onsite/in-person)
