An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Cranswick Country Foods Poultry site for you to join as a Factory Manager.
Purpose of the role- Responsible for E2E Factory manufacturing processes from Raw Material Intake to Despatch, setting standards of performance and behaviors as directed.
The key elements of the role are:
* To be fully responsible for maintaining a safe, harmonious and productive working environment within the geographical boundaries and budgetary targets as defined by your upline manager for the duration of your appointed 4O4O rotation
* To establish, lead, inspire and develop a successful team to consistently deliver the 'balanced scorecard' of daily operational objectives that meet or exceed business and customer expectations using the principles of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People template
* To understand and actively apply the principles of current H&S Legislation and Company procedure ensuring compliance and promoting safe working practices at all times through the proactive application of the various accident prevention mechanisms at your disposal
* To understand and actively apply the principles of current Food Safety Legislation and Company policies to all aspects of the manufacturing process
* To maintain a thorough understanding of relevant product, processes & specifications ensuring consistency of application in order to strike the right balance between matching agreed quality standards and maximising yield opportunity
* To be fully aware of agreed business targets re; customer service levels and quality measures and to ensure that Plan Attainment facilitates this KPI
* To monitor and to deliver on-time against periodic project-based timescales
* To maintain the manufacturing cost base to within agreed budgetary tolerances
* To maintain a safe and industrious work environment across the site that fosters collaborative employee involvement encouraging ideas and participation whilst ensuring employee compliance to the company's procedural expectations
