We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to join our management team and take responsibility for managing Randolph Hill Nursing Home, a 60-bed home in Dunblane, Scotland. This role has arisen due to the retirement of our current manager.

Built in 2006, our home offers luxurious living for residents who enjoy high standards of care in a friendly community. Randolph Hill is well known locally for compassion, warmth, and kindness, supported by a highly skilled team with excellent Care Inspectorate grades, currently rated 5 - Very Good.

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for your budget, making local decisions, and supported by a full-time Deputy Manager and experienced peer managers. You will also be part of a senior management team committed to continuous improvement. Our size allows for local decision-making without unnecessary bureaucracy, combined with extensive training and high standards.

Planning permission has been approved for a new 20-bed luxury care home, scheduled to open by 2027, which the new Manager will oversee. This is an exciting development stage for the organization.


The Role

Leading our 60-bed home in Dunblane, you will create a warm, safe, environment where residents thrive. Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, setting high standards, and inspiring your team to deliver person-centred care.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a safe, homely setting where residents feel valued and happy.
* Set and uphold high standards with a professional and compassionate approach.
* Manage the home efficiently, ensuring financial sustainability.
* Involve residents in shaping improvements, championing person-centred care.
* Build relationships with the local community and oversee operational management.
* Lead, develop, and motivate staff, fostering a positive team culture.


About You

* Registered Nurse (with current NMC PIN) or hold SVQ Level 4 in Social Services and Healthcare, plus SVQ 4 in Leadership and Management.
* Extensive management experience within a care home environment.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Experience with older adults and understanding of dementia.
* Positive, solutions-focused attitude.
* Knowledge of employment law, care regulations, is desirable.
