Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager for our 3-bed residential facility in Wolverhampton. The home caters to children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for each child, focusing on their emotional, social, and educational development.
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents.
* Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
* Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support the needs and development of the children.
* Ensure the home meets all Ofsted standards and achieves positive inspection outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
* Strong understanding of EBD and LD care requirements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
* Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
