Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate delivery of clinical care to residents and Home Care clients, ensuring holistic care and wellbeing of residents.
* Provide medication management, including ensuring valid medication orders, medication administration, PRN and monitoring, and ensuring compliance with storage of medications such as scheduled drugs.
* Manage wound care, including assessment, dressing, reviews, and evaluations to ensure optimal wound healing.
* Assess and respond with an appropriate pain management approach to ensure residents are as pain-free as possible.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
* Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current registration.
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry, ideally aged care and/or retirement living.
* Current driver's license.
* Current NDIS clearance (not essential).
* Above award rates.
