The Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll lead a small finance team and play a key role in providing accurate financial and management information to support the organisation’s strategic and operational goals. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and business partnering packs Delivering variance analysis, cashflows and robust forecasting Leading annual budget production and supporting budget holders with training and guidance Reviewing payroll costs and preparing reports Identifying opportunities for income generation and spotting financial trends Driving process improvements and automation within finance systems Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture The Person A fully qualified accountant (CCAB) with relevant experience Strong track record of leadership and team development Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels Proven experience across management accounts, budgets, and reporting cycles Solid knowledge of relevant legislation and accounting principles Strong analytical thinker, able to balance strategic insight with hands-on delivery Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint The Package Salary up to £55,000 Excellent pension scheme Generous holiday entitlement Hybrid working and flexible, family-friendly patterns Supportive, values-led working environment
