Main Responsibilities as Lead Pricing Analyst:
* Takefull ownership of end-to-end pricing activity, from deep-dive analysisthrough to live rate deployment across our Non-Standard Motor products.
* Leadand develop a talented team, creating a culture of curiosity, growth andhigh performance.
* Use advancedmodelling and data science techniques to unlock new opportunities withinspecialist Car, Van and Bike segments.
* Shapehow we compete by blending market insight, performance data and commercialjudgement.
* Partnerwith senior leaders to challenge thinking and guide direction.
* Playa key role in evolving our pricing capability, tools and approach.
Skills and experience you need as Lead Pricing Analyst:
* Abackground in insurance pricing or a similar analytical field (motorexperience is highly valued).
* Strongprogramming skills (SAS, R, Python or similar).
* Experiencewith predictive modelling techniques (GLMs, GBMs, machine learning methodsetc.).
* Confidenceworking with tools like Emblem and Radar.
* Anatural ability to connect insight with business impact.
* Experienceleading or mentoring others, with a passion for developing talent.
* Strongcommunication skills - you can make complex ideas simple and compelling.
* Thedrive to take ownership, deliver results and push things forward.
