Service Charge Property Surveyor – Birmingham - Minimal travel required and hybrid working available!
Are you a Surveyor or Property professional who is slightly fed up of living on the motorway?
I am currently recruiting for a really interesting Service Charge Property Surveyor role with a growing commercial property business based in Birmingham.
This role would suit someone with strong commercial property and service charge experience who enjoys the analytical/problem-solving side of property management… but perhaps doesn’t want the constant travel, endless tenant visits but perhaps is looking for something a little more structured and internally focused.
The successful person will work closely with Property Managers, Facilities Managers and Client Accountants internally, supporting across:
* Service charge budgets
* Year-end reconciliations
* Auditor queries
* Lease interpretation
* Service charge reviews and commentary
This is largely an internal-facing role with very minimal travel and limited tenant-facing responsibilities.
Ideally you will:
* Have experience within commercial property/service charge environments
* Understand leases, service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations
* Be resilient and confident chasing queries through to completion
* Have strong communication and organisational skills
* Have solid Excel skills
* Qube or Yardi experience would be beneficial
Relevant backgrounds could include:
* Service Charge Surveyor
* Management Surveyor
* Property Manager
* Estate Manager
* Centre Manager
MRICS/ARICS qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.

Salary is expected to be as advertised, although there may be flexibility for the right person
