Salary Grade 6 i.e. £31,364 - £33,945 per annum (Pay Award Pending)Full Time - 37 hours per week
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join the Council to play a crucial role within the Housing service to provide support on Capital investment projects, major structural repairs, building refurbishment, and planned replacement programmes across the Bassetlaw District.
You will be ensuring that progress of property investment work is appropriately managed, including quality and accuracy of work, compliance with specifications, agreeing variations, and monitoring work from inception to completion whilst considering cost implications against annual budget expenditure.
You will need to demonstrate good technical knowledge and experience of working in a construction environment, with a clear understanding of housing and property regulations and legislation to enable you to act with integrity and accountability.
The role will require an aptitude for innovation to support our continuous service improvement plans, and you will need excellent customer focused care skills, to ensure they are at the heart of what you do.
