Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all materials are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
* Handle materials with care during stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
* Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload goods from lorries.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
* Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction may be an asset.
