As their operations expand, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our business. You will be responsible for managing and reducing debtor days, maintaining positive client relationships, and supporting overall cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor the sales ledger across multiple accounts
Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, and written communication
Allocate payments accurately and efficiently
Conduct credit checks on new customers and set appropriate credit limits
Resolve invoice queries and liaise with internal departments and clients
Produce regular debtor reports for senior management
Support month-end processes and reconciliations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller, ideally within a labour supply, recruitment, or construction-related business
Strong understanding of credit control processes and debt recovery
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Confident using accounting software and MS Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
