Key Responsibilities
* Develop innovative and commercially viable soft woven womenswear collections that align with brand identity and market trends.
* Create captivating feminine handwriting with an eye for print, ensuring each design reflects current fashion movements.
* Collaborate closely with the design team, sourcing, and technical departments to bring designs from concept to production.
* Manage multiple projects efficiently within short lead times while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Stay informed of industry trends, fabric developments, and competitor activities to inform design decisions.
Person Specification
* Proven experience designing for womenswear, with a focus on soft woven fabrics.
* Familiarity with working on collections for young high street brands is highly desirable.
* Strong print design skills and a feminine, trend-aware aesthetic.
* Experience working within short lead times and a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A creative eye combined with technical understanding to produce commercially successful fashion pieces.
