Senior Communications and Engagement Lead
About Us
South London Partnership (SLP) is seeking a talented Senior Communications and Engagement Lead for a fixed-term/secondment, full-time position (36 hours).
Are you a creative and experienced communicator? Do you excel at making connections and coordinating communication campaigns, engagement activities, events, and stakeholder meetings? Do you have experience engaging with employers and businesses? Would you like to support employment opportunities in south London?
In this role, you will help improve recruitment and retention in the social care sector, support underrepresented groups, and promote access to jobs, training, and career opportunities. You will shape, measure, and drive the success of SWL Social Care Workforce projects to create future opportunities in South West London.
You will lead impactful, insight-led communications and engagement strategies, build relationships across SWL, and work closely with partner agencies to collaborate on workforce improvements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage multi-channel communication and marketing campaigns, media engagement, conferences, and events to promote social care careers.
* Identify and deliver opportunities, proactively communicate key information via the Academy Hub and partners.
* Develop and implement engagement strategies with care providers, employers, the care workforce, and service users.
* Build and strengthen networks across stakeholders.
SLP is a close-knit, dynamic team working across Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, and Sutton, focusing on collaboration to increase influence, funding, and service delivery.
