We're working with a growing technology business in Maidenhead who are looking for a Junior to Mid-level Software/Application Support Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st & 2nd line support for a range of internal and third-party applications
* Troubleshoot incidents, investigate root causes and apply fixes
* Work closely with developers, product teams, and external suppliers
* Document solutions, processes and known issues
* Working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
You'll be based in Maidenhead, working 2 days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday), with the rest from home.
After you complete your 6-month probation, you'll join the on-call rota (1 week in 4) - and you'll receive an extra GBP450 per month while on-call.
Job requirements:
You don't need to know everything on day one - training is provided - but the client is looking for someone who:
* Has 1-4 years' experience in an IT support, software support or service desk role
* Is comfortable speaking to users and explaining technical issues clearly
* Has good troubleshooting skills and enjoys solving problems
* Is familiar with Windows environments, Azure, basic SQL, and application support concepts
* Is proactive, organised, and happy working in a fast-moving environment
