About the Role
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and ensure our resort shines? As the Accommodation & Cleaning Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional cleanliness across our public areas and entertainment venues. Your mission? To create a welcoming environment for our guests while managing a dedicated team of cleaning professionals.
Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, you will ensure that daily operational plans are executed flawlessly. You’ll coordinate your team to meet fluctuating guest demands, all while maintaining high operational standards and enhancing the guest experience.
Your leadership will shine as you oversee the cleaning of our entertainment venues post-show, maintain all toilet facilities, and manage the movement and resetting of venue furniture. You’ll even tackle high-level cleaning tasks using industrial equipment, both indoors and outdoors!
In this role, you’ll coach and support your team, driving key metrics related to our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach, while holding everyone accountable to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a proactive leader who can:
* Ensure the delivery of our cleaning standards while enhancing both Guest and Employee NPS.
* Conduct quality control checks and lead constructive feedback conversations.
* Effectively manage the Right People, Right Place, Right Time (RPRPRT) strategy.
This is a permanent role covering 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, including weekends. Expect a mix of early and late shifts, from 6 AM to 5 AM, to cover our operating hours.
About You
As a successful Accommodation & Cleaning Shift Manager, you will:
* Oversee a seamless cleaning operation, ensuring strict adherence to our CAFF standards.
* Stay informed about NPS scores and take proactive steps to enhance them while minimizing guest complaints.
* Conduct online quality control checks, analyze reports, and lead feedback discussions.
* Ensure your team receives comprehensive training and support.
* Manage the onboarding process for new team members and oversee all personnel-related activities throughout their employment lifecycle.
* Set clear objectives and Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for your team, support team surveys, and uphold brand standards.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Extensive operational knowledge in managing a cleaning or soft services team.
* A proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.
* High standards and meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience in leading both permanent and temporary teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
