Job description

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of older children in kinship families?
We are looking for a motivated advisor to join our innovative Kinship Zone pilot programme on a fixed term (3.5 years) full time basis. This is a unique opportunity to support older children in kinship families to access meaningful employment, education and training opportunities.
About the role?
In this dynamic role, you’ll work directly with young people, employer and partners to break down barriers, build confidence and create sustainable career pathways.
You will be providing tailored guidance, removing barriers, and championing their ambitions every step of the way. The role involves building strong partnerships with employers, training providers and key agencies such as the DWP, while coordinating and overseeing a skills and employability programme to ensure high levels of engagement and positive outcomes.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual with a strong commitment to supporting young people. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in employment support, training programmes or working with young people being desirable, alongside the ability to effectively manage caseloads and coordinate programmes.
If you are driven to make a real impact and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.
