At Apollo Vets, we’re looking for a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team. You’ll work across our three branches, with your main base in Black Notley, supporting both clinical standards and team development. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated local team who would be covering our three sites on a rota basis. Your main place of work will be at our main site in Black Notley, but you will be expected to work at our Dunmow and Maldon sites occasionally. This role will include all aspects of practice including consultations, theatre work, dental and diagnostics and so much more. As part of this role, we will require you to be a Clinical Coach. If you do not already hold this qualification, training can be undertaken once you are employed with us.
Work Schedule
We’re open to both full-time and part-time applications, and flexibility is important to us.
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Shifts: Between 8am–7pm weekdays
Saturdays: 1 in 5, 8am–2pm
No out-of-hours
We operate a Fix or Flex approach – whether you need fixed hours or are looking for something more flexible, we’re happy to make it work.
About the Practice
Apollo Vets is a 3-branch practice located in Essex, just 3 miles from Braintree, with easy transport links to London. We’re proud of our close-knit community feel and supportive working environment.
All three branches are well-equipped with modern diagnostic tools including dental radiography, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ventilator, and multiparameter monitors.
You’ll work alongside two dedicated Vets (including one working toward a dermatology certificate), 5 experienced RVNs, Student Nurses, VCAs, Receptionists, and a Practice Director who is also an RVN – so you’ll be supported by people who truly understand the role.
