Ongoing training and development opportunitiesDuties of the MET Technician:
Carry out stripping, refurbishing, and fitting of a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
Perform diagnostic tasks accurately and efficiently
Ensure high standards of repair work are maintained at all times
Support team members including painters, panel beakers, and other MET fitters
Complete job cards and paperwork accurately to reflect work completed as a MET Technician
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and targets
Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to health and safety regulationsRequirements:
Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) fitting and stripping on various vehicle makes and models
Own tools and diagnostic equipment
Relevant qualifications such as ATA/NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience
Valid UK driving licence
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
