We are looking to expand our Infrastructure and Highways senior management team and appoint an exceptional Associate Civil Engineer to work across projects within our Infrastructure team in Leicester, Sheffield, or Manchester. Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for leading major projects across sectors including residential, custodial, leisure, defence, education, healthcare, and heritage. Your core responsibilities will include: Managing a variety of projects in size, type, and complexity. Supervising engineers and technicians, ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Mentoring and supporting staff, including early career professionals. Contributing to proposals, bidding, tendering, and client interviews. Representing the firm at client meetings and presentations. Leading and coordinating complex projects as needed. Engaging in business development activities across sectors. Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. About You The ideal candidate will have: A relevant degree supported by substantial experience. Chartered Engineer (CEng) with post-chartered experience, or Incorporated Engineer (IEng). Proven leadership skills and a proactive approach. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Self-motivation, efficiency, and enthusiasm. Leadership abilities with critical thinking skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities. Experience liaising with clients and managing infrastructure schemes and bespoke projects. Strong report writing and presentation skills. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Site 3D, Infraworks, and Civils 3D. Excellent communication skills. Ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with various contract types.
