Duties

* Serve customers at the counter or table, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness of the café environment, including clearing tables and cleaning work surfaces.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using basic maths skills.
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
* Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as required.
Experience
* Previous barista experience or background in serving food and beverages is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety procedures is advantageous.
* Experience in food preparation or working in a customer-facing role is beneficial.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions confidently.
* Strong organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks efficiently.
