Cognizant Workday Practice is seeking a Principal Data Consultant experienced in Human Capital Management. As a Principal Data Consultant, you will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation.

Responsibilities
* Become a Workday HCM and Data expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
* Partner with your team and clients to ensure project success.
* Utilize Workday tools like iLoad, EIB, Object Transporter, Advanced Load, and Migration Recipe for tenant-to-tenant migrations.
* Design data tracking, monitoring tools, and generate useful reports.
* Convert and map data sources into conversion templates using iLoads.
* Guide clients through data extraction, cleansing, and configuration processes.
* Create ETL scripts for data transformation and loading.
* Support data validation into Workday.
* Engage with clients throughout all project phases for a smooth transition.
* Manage multiple tasks independently, keeping stakeholders informed.
* Participate in training and knowledge-sharing within the organization.
Skills & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, MIS, or related field.
* 2-5 years ERP Data Conversion or HCM implementation experience.
* Workday HCM experience preferred.
* Security clearance is a plus.
* Experience with data conversion, mining, and loading.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
