Our client, is seeking a skilled Environmental/Ecologist to join their East Sussex contract on a part-time basis. This contract role, ideally suited for professionals seeking flexible working arrangements, requires attendance at both the office in Ringmer and various site locations for ad-hoc environmental and ecology reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting environmental and ecology reviews at various site locations
Compiling detailed reports based on site assessments
Providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance ecological outcomes
Collaborating with the project team to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Engaging with stakeholders to communicate findings and influence project decisions
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in ecology and environmental assessment
Experience in conducting site visits and preparing expert reports
Understanding of environmental regulations and policies within the highways sector
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Relevant qualification in ecology, environmental science, or a related field
