My client is looking for a Senior Console/Engine Engineer to join their game studio to work on a well known simulation game. This can provide full remote working opportunities across Europe. This can provide remote working opportunities across the UK and Germany. This can pay up to the equivalent of £80k + company benefits.
The client is looking for you to work on the development of tech on modern console platforms. You will be developing and refining abstractions between systems to manage console compatibility. Also, you will be working on porting and improving existing systems and guiding the creation of new ones to ensure performance and compatibility with console platforms.
The ideal candidate we are looking for would ideally have experience in a similar position and harbour some of the following skills.
* Extensive experience working with C++
* Good understanding of concurrency, memory management and optimisation and game systems
* Worked on at least 1 title on console/PC 3D project
* Passion for simulation games
