Field Service Generator Engineer - Diesel Generators - Solihull - £45,000
About the company
We\'re looking for a Mobile Generator Engineer / Power Engineer who will be required to travel regularly to different locations, maintaining and repairing generators varying from 20KVA to 1250KVA and various other equipment within our range, providing an onsite service to customers.
This will include finding and capturing machine damage and keeping accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records. It is also really important that you communicate effectively, ensuring that you are Line Manager and Customers are kept informed as required.

* Basic salary £45,000
* OTE £55,000 PLUS

Responsibilities & Requirements
* Experience in Generator field service or similar
* Proficiency in, and other relevant programming languages
* Strong understanding of principles and practices
* Experience with techniques and equipment
* Knowledge of principles and methodologies
* Familiarity with for system integration
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
* Prior experience in the generator industry or similar
* Flexible and self-motivated, open to training opportunities and staying away from home as required
* Great communication skills – both verbal and written
* Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
* Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
