About The Role
Location: Yaxley, Peterborough
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Night Life Practitioner to join our team at Tigh Carbaid. As a Night Life Practitioner, you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting them in daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community.
We provide a company vehicle for transport to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle, you must have held a full UK driver’s licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.
Starting rates are £12.85 at Level 1, £13.35 at Level 2, and £13.85 at Level 3. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
* Assist with daily activities.
* Accompany individuals on trips into the community.
* Operate company vehicle safely, ensuring timely transport to appointments and outings.
* Maintain accurate records of care and support activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Genuine passion for care and a motivation to contribute to the progression of others.
* Strong team player.
* Resilient and able to ask for support when needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
