Connect Appointments are recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to join our Musselburgh based manufacturing client.
What’s on offer?
* Full-time ongoing position
* Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
* Paid at £12.50 per hour
As a Manufacturing Technician
you’ll be working within the production team to support the assemble and electrical wiring of a variety of products. With your day-to-day duties will include:
* Reading and following wiring diagrams, schematics, and build instructions
* Fitting looms, connectors, sensors, and control components
* Carrying out basic electrical checks and visual inspections
* Making sure all wiring meets quality, safety, and specification standards
* Helping the team stay on track to hit daily and weekly production targets
* Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
* Working closely with other teams
To be successful
you’ll have previous experience in wiring, electrical assembly or manufacturing. Combined with the following skills, traits and experiences:
* Happy to carry out repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail
* Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
* A strong understanding of electrical safety within a manufacturing environment
* Good with your hands and enjoy practical, hands-on work
