Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with trading experience in the UK.
The Business Analyst will leverage their knowledge of financial markets and trading processes to identify business needs, analyze data, and recommend solutions to improve and optimize trading operations.
Responsibilities include:
* Identifying and documenting business requirements related to trading operations, including front-to-back processes.
* Collaborating with traders and stakeholders to understand challenges and needs.
* Analyzing existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Assessing existing systems for bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Working with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
* Developing system requirements and specifications for trading systems.
* Understanding execution workflows across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, and FX.
* Ensuring solutions meet both business needs and technical requirements through collaboration with developers and product managers.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including executives, to explain complex issues and solutions.
* Managing stakeholder expectations and project progress updates.
* Understanding trade capture, execution, and lifecycle events.
* Collaborating with traders on new products or services development.
